We nearly made it to another weekend folks – it has been a busy one for us! With lockdowns lifting, and a drink in a beer garden now a real possibility, as well as being able to pop into a shop and have a browse, everything is looking a lot brighter. We hope you all have a great weekend!

This week’s post announces brand new functionality for Avasam – especially for BigCommerce and WooCommerce users – as well as our roundup of must-know news. We’re talking about new automated eBay campaigns, upcoming changes to Amazon policy as well as bringing Prime Day forward, whether in-store or eCommerce is better for the environment, and how best to market products to Gen Z.

We were excited to announce new functionality to Avasam this week, in the form of a new sales channel integration for BigCommerce, and automated listing tools for both BigCommerce and WooCommerce. We know there are a number of sellers that have been waiting for this functionality – and we can’t wait to see your businesses skyrocket as a result. Ever wondered which is better for the environment, in-store retail or eCommerce? We definitely have, and the latest report suggests that eCommerce in Europe has a lower environmental impact than physical non-food retail. The report was commissioned by Amazon, and this post doesn’t give us the method – but eCommerce definitely has other benefits that you can read about here too!

One for us all to know about, whether as business owners or as customers – Amazon are expected to bring Prime Day forward to mid or late June this year, after it being delayed three separate times last year due to the pandemic. They’re yet to announce the date officially, so watch this space.
